The Green Flag Award winners’ ceremony took place on 24th July 2008 at the new Liverpool Arena and Convention Centre in Liverpool.
Over 1300 people attended the two awards ceremonies and received their Green Flags, Pennants and Heritage Plaques.
The celebratory dinner took place in St George’s Hall, Liverpool, where 500 people heard Baroness Andrews, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State, Communities & Local Government give the keynote speech.
