Cavenham Village Green, a Doorstep Green Project, was completed in 2006 by the local community, who continue to maintain its’ many safe, attractive features for people of all ages to enjoy. Its facilities comprise a play area with adventure tower and swings, basketball court, cycle track, birds nest swing, sheltered meeting place, BBQ, footpaths, park benches, picnic benches, snake sculpture, hollowed tree sculpture, open space for games, football goal, trim trail and daffodil maze. A mixed native hedge, 40 trees and wildflower meadow attract local wildlife. The committee welcomes new volunteers to help with the future maintenance of the green.
