Culpeper Community garden is a unique and beautiful green space in the heart of Islington, run by the community for the community. For twenty five years, volunteers have come together to help create an oasis of tranquility open to the public daily, amidst the surrounding urban chaos. Culpeper offers small plots to local residents, provides volunteering opportunities for interested groups and individuals, and works with several local partners, including schools, a group with learning difficulties, a refugee group and adults with mental ill health. With over 200 members from 25 different countries, our garden community reflects the diversity of people living in Islington, and provides an organic meeting place for all to enjoy.
