Information about this open space

St John’s Church Community Garden enhances the centre of the village of Old Colwyn. It was transformed in 2005 by 36 volunteers and is now tended by residents. Railings encompass the site giving light and security. A butterfly attracting garden together with unmown grass islands and a variety of native flowers and shrubs, help insect life cycles. Bird and bat boxes have encouraged nesting. A compost bin is used for garden waste. Project information panels are displayed. New seats and litter bins are provided and there is good access.
