Coombe Country Park

It has taken ten centuries and the vision of many individuals for the magnificent Country Park to reach its present splendour. Come and explore its beautiful historic parkland, woodlands and lakeside walks. With around 500 acres to discover it's more than a day out!

A large part of the site is classified as a Site of Special Scientific Interest, SSSI, as recognition of its importance to wildlife including its fantastic heronry supporting 60% of Warwickshire's population. The historic parkland designed by Capability Brown is listed on the English Heritage register of historic parks and gardens.

Come rain or shine Coombe is alive with the sounds and sights of nature. With a fully accessible bird hide, a climbing forest, play area for younger children, picnic and barbecue areas, formal gardens and a permanent orienteering course there's something for everyone. As a visitor you can also enjoy the benefits of the parks Visitor Centre home to The Herons Cafe, Discovery Centre, Information Centre, Gift shop open seven days a week and the fabulous Coombe Abbey Woodturners workshop, open Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Sundays.
