Pallister Park is a uniquely designed park. It is know locally as the ‘leisure centre without a roof’ reflecting the fact that the majority of activities available to the public take place outdoors. Pallister Park offers a wide variety of both indoor and outdoor activities and caters for a wide selection of the community. Facilities include two floodlit 5-side-courts, a floodlit multi-court, two bowling greens, a large children’s playarea, a nine hole putting green and a floodlit performance amphitheater / roller-skating rink. Located in the middle of the park is the park centre building, which includes an activity room, creche, soft place room, computer room and offices. The park centre building offers a variety of activities for all age groups and abilities. It both welcomes and encourages visits from external organisations, including nursery and primary schools disabled groups and local community groups. Pallister Park can offer the complete package to all who visit.
