01256 845610Eastrop Park is one of Basingstoke’s premier town centre parks and boasts huge popularity all year round. The Borough’s Environmental Care Team and local volunteers work hard to continually improve the quality of the park and provide an attractive and safe outdoor venue for educational visits, family events and leisure activities to suit everyone. Despite its urban location, Eastrop Park is home to a rich diversity of wildlife such as kingfishers and bats. Scenic features such as the River Loddon, historic trees, wildlife pond and old canal hedgerow are carefully managed to enhance the park’s natural landscape. The park is used regularly by local community groups such as the Basingstoke Model Boat Club, Basingstoke Capoeira Society and Health Walkers.
