Mowbray Park in Sunderland City Centre provides opportunities to enjoy horticulture, events and education in a 21st Century Victorian Park.  The southern section includes a quarry garden, woodland glades, bowling green, equipped play, community buildings, toilets and the Park Warden Office.  The northern section includes a water garden, community garden, Victorian terraces, bandstand and access to the Winter Gardens/Museum.  CCTV and the Park Warden Service are provided to address personal safety.  The City Council is committed to raising the parks, profile in partnership with Friends of Mowbray Park, the Museum Service and other agencies.
