It contains internationally renowned Rhododendron plant collections which provide a spring display that delight and inspire gardeners of all ages. The views across Swansea bay from the upper levels of the gardens are spectaular and well worth the gentle climb to reach them. Visitors with mobility or access issues are encouraged to contact the gardens staff in advance of any proposed visit so that we can help to maximaise their experience by helping them with access maps and a guide if so desired. The gardens are a great recreational location in beautiful surroundings. There are discovery trails that highlight some of the gardens main features and information is available at the main entrance at Blackpill and from the Tourist Information centres.  The events information is available from the Councils web site other council venues around the city. We have in excess of 250,000 vistors a year which goes to show that the site is very popular and with free admission is outstanding value.
