Crumpsall Park is a fantastic green space in the middle of Crumpsall which serves as a central focal point for all the residents of Crumpsall and visitors alike.  Over the past few years, Crumpsall Park has improved dramatically, becoming a more friendly and attractive place for young and old alike, with the sports ground and the children’s play area, seats all around the park and the dog exercise section, the park is used by all from dawn till dusk, and beyond.  Crumpsall has a very diverse population, with people from every ethnic background and every continent of the world. It is a great pleasure to see all these people come together in the park especially on the day of the Crumpsall Carnival which has become an annual event in the community, with over 2000 people attending the event, and every year the event gets bigger and better, everyone around looks forwards to.  The park has become not just a recreational ground but also part of the learning process for the resident toddler group based in the Park Lodge, the children learn about nature and green spaces and they participate in bulb planting and learn about the many trees and plants that exist within the walls of our park. The continued improvements and high standards of maintenance is evident for all to see and achieving the green flag status has encouraged others to participate in making Crumpsall Park and even bigger success.
