Information about this open space

Winner of the coveted Green Flag award since 2003, Bruce Castle Park covers eight hectares of stunning parkland in the heart of Tottenham; and dates back to the early eleventh century.  The award winning grounds offer a variety of facilities for all ages including the children’s paddling pool which is a favourite throughout the summer months; and sporting facilities like the multi-use games area and tennis courts.  The Holocaust Memorial Garden offers an area for quiet contemplation.  The 16th century historic building of Bruce Castle Museum lies in the west of the park; housing an interesting collection of Haringey’s local history and archives.  The Park plays host to a variety of activities including the Tottenham Community Festival and Carnival, a multi-cultural event for all the family, every June. A number of smaller events are also held throughout the year aimed at all ages and communities.
