0121 444 2848Kings Heath Park is situated 5 miles south of Birmingham City Centre, Europe’s No 1 Shopping Centre, in the suburb of Kings Heath. Over the last 50 years the Park has become nationally recognised as a Horticultural Training School, where annually up to 200 students will gain a range of both Professional and Amateur qualifications. The work of both staff and students alike is reflected in the 14 hectares of high quality demonstration gardens and formal areas with seasonal bedding schemes, herbaceous borders, alpine outcrops, heather beds, trees and shrubs. Looking from the House and Conservatory Tea Room, the main focal point of the Park is the newly refurbished pool area which is bordered by a mix of both traditional and exotic plants. Other facilities include: bowling greens, lawn tennis courts and play areas for children and toddlers. The Gardener’s Weekend Show is held annually at Kings Heath Park and is attended by around 30,000 each year. The park caters very much for all the family and people from a range of ethnic and disability backgrounds living in the locality and wider a field.
