Information about this open space

Close Park is just over 11 hectares in size and is situated on outskirts of Radcliffe, 3 miles from Bury town centre. It’s busy all year round with high community involvement, through a self management programme of sports facilities (Radcliffe Borough Juniors FC & Close Park Bowling Club).  Recent improvements consist of the introduction of our second Park Ranger, through the Bury Children’s Fund, the installation of a ballzone, new tennis courts & play area with youth facilities, plus the inspirational redevelopment of the frontage to give an open welcoming feel of the park and introduction of the new car park.
