Coronation Park is a valuable asset to the Crosby area and is ideally located for the local community and for other residents living within the Sefton area. Built as a recreation ground, this neighbourhood park has activities for all. Some of the main features of Coronation Park include a well-equipped play area, a boating lake, an extremely well used park pavilion, tennis courts and an excellent bowling green. Coronation Park is accessible by foot but is also located well in the Crosby area for those travelling by public transport, either by train bus or train. Coronation Park is central to Crosby village and is surrounded by some excellent shops including cafes, gift shops and supermarkets. One of the main features of Coronation Park is the ‘Crosby meteorite’! a Gypsum boulder in one of the many excellent flower beds.
