Stover Country Park and Local Nature Reserve is situated between Newton Abbot and Bovey Tracey in South Devon. The park is managed for the benefit of wildlife, recreation and the local community. 114 acres of woodland, heathland, grassland, lake and marsh provide a wonderful opportunity to enjoy a wide range of activities from an afternoon picnic to serious nature study. The park is easily accessible and level and is well suited for wheelchairs and pushchairs. The park has gentle walks, several picnic areas, a sustainably built interpretation centre and the Ted Hughes Poetry Trail.
