Didsbury Park caters for the needs of most members of the community: for the sports minded there is a football pitch, two bowling greens and ball walls; the nature lover can enjoy the developing woodland wildflower area, the bird garden and the wide variety of trees and plants; the gardener has the developing herbaceous/shrub border and a wide variety of ornamental shrubs and trees giving interest throughout the year and the dog-walker has a picturesque setting for the daily exercise. For the dedicated park lover, the opportunity to play a more active part in the development of the area, an active Friends group is ready to welcome new members.
