Information about this open space

Bedfords Park is a rural oasis amidst the urban development of Havering in Essex. Comprising nearly 90 hectares of countryside the park provides a multitude of things to do throughout the year.  The Park is managed jointly by both the London Borough of Havering and the Essex Wildlife Trust and is home to a magnificent new eco-friendly interpretive centre where visitors can learn, relax or take refreshments, whilst enjoying panoramic views of London and beyond.  The Park, for centuries a privately owned estate, comprises swathes of grassland, woodland and water and is home to a herd of red deer.
