Its unspoilt natural beauty and character continues to attract large numbers of visitors with opportunities for families with, woodland and lots of open space, picnic areas, two children’s playgrounds, a trim trail, miniature railway and meadows, There is also football, rugby, cricket a pitch and putt course. The Basingstoke canal runs along the eastern boundary and with lots of space, woodland, cafeteria, miniature railway and pitch & putt course ,Frimley Lodge park is a very attractive venue for everyone looking for quiet recreation or organised activity. A further attraction is the resident warden and the Council’s contractors providing fulltime attendance. The warden also works with volunteers and provides a programme of educational walks and events.
