Information about this open space

This historic village green is located in the heart of Harefield village conservation area. It is the focus of this ancient agricultural village and is central to life in the village today. The village green, a registered common, dates back to 1813 and it helps create and sustain a real sense of community in the village. There is a small children’s playground, the village pond and war memorial. Community events and celebrations have taken place here for many years and it continues to be enjoyed by the people of Harefield today.
