Information about this open space

Alyn Waters is the largest Country Park in the Wrexham area and lies either side of the River Alyn. Trails allow easy access through woodland and grassland and there is a cycleway and Sculpture Trail. There is a Trim Trail and some of the routes are calorie mapped.  On the Gwersyllt side, the Visitor and Environmental Education Centre is a premier venue for events, education and community groups. The Country Café is open all year round. The Llay side of the park has a Local Nature Reserve, playground and Golf Driving Range.
