Bedford Park is the premier Victorian park in Bedford with much of the original design and buildings unaltered to this day. The park boasts some fine stands of Corsican pine trees, a lake, bandstand, numerous tennis courts, cafe pavilion and cricket pavilion as well as two excellent play areas. The park is ideally placed close to the town centre and the on-site Robinson swimming pool and larger play area make it a destination for many family outings. There is a wide range of cultural and sporting events held at the Park culminating with the Proms in the Park on an August evening. Overall, there is something for everyone at Bedford Park - a part of the town’s heritage.
