The park offers a wide range of facilities for all ages to enjoy, including a superb interactive water feature and for those who want to spend a quiet moment in the park, the formal Victorian gardens offer an oasis of peace presided over by a bronze statue of Queen Victoria. Football pitches, tennis courts, a putting green and bowling green provide visitors to the park with a wide range of activities to choose from, whislt light refreshments are available at the kiosk. Paths through the park are easily accessed by mobility vehicles and part of the children’s play area has been designed so that it can be enjoyed by children with special needs. Mature native trees along the Riverside Trail provide a rich habitat for wildlife and the river itself plays host to a variety of waterfowl.
