020 7527 7260Edward Square is listed as an historic open space having been open to the public since 1888. Falling into disrepair during the middle of the 20th Centaury the council with support from the local community was able to secure regeneration money to bring the Square back to life. In March 2000 the new park was opened, fulfilling the needs of the community as a pocket park the award winning design has a village green feel to it with play equipment, grass kick about area, picnic field, murals and a wall inscribed with a poem dedicated to the park written by Andrew Motion.
