Cheshunt Park is a picturesque setting for most types of formal and informal recreation.  Visitors can enjoy a walk or cycle along the historic Roman Road, Ermine Street or a picnic in one of the conservation areas or wildflower meadows.  The woodland provides an opportunity for ornithologists to study the local birdlife.  Golf enthusiasts can play a round on the challenging and busy 18 hole par 71 golf course, set on 6057 metres of parkland landscaping.  Younger visitors can enjoy the modern and challenging play equipment whilst teenagers can make use of the basketball and football facilities and hang-out area.  From rural retreat to sport and socialising, Cheshunt Park caters fully for all pastimes
