0116 2293636Aylestone Hall Gardens is a compact ornamental Garden surrounding the historic Aylestone Hall. It has a pleasant welcoming ambience being screened from the surrounding housing. The Gardens contain a Bowling Green and Tennis Courts and a mixture of herbaceous, Shrub and rose borders with some annual beds, which give a display of colour throughout the year. The garden has also recently been planted with a stunning rose arena. The Gardens are used daily through the summer by the Bowlers, local residents and a as a pleasant spot for families to picnic and sit and enjoy the gardens. The tennis courts were recently resurfaced and are very popular, with annual tennis coaching sessions helping to increase usage. The gardens are mainly used for passive activities being a beautiful spot to sit and relax, or enjoy a picnic. A number of events are run on the park, including annual Halloween and Christmas act ivies, along with summer brass band concerts. The Friends of Aylestone Hall Gardens are a proactive group who are working with Parks Services to develop ideas on improvements for the area.
