Information about this open space

This 180 hectare park is a stunning mix of deciduous and coniferous woodland, meadows and wetlands that provide a haven for wildlife and a peaceful retreat to the people of Stockton borough and beyond.  With a Visitor Centre, café, children’s play area and a planetarium and observatory, plus regular events run on site, there is plenty for the visitor to see and do. You could even ride your bike along part of National Cycle Route 1. There are opportunities for people to help the ranger service as volunteers and the rangers provide an educational experience for visiting schools.  Its countryside, facilities, events and opportunities make Wynyard Woodland Park a great place to visit.
