Information about this open space

Haden Hill Park and Corngreaves Nature Reserve covers over 30 hectares, and was landscaped in the late 1870’s. It is an area of leisure and heritage within the West Midlands and attracts much local interest. This Green Flag Award demonstrates the Council’s commitment to continuous improvements. The Park and Nature Reserve also provides a range of informal and formal recreational opportunities from walking to children’s play with Haden Hill House Museum and Haden Hall visitor attractions. Recent years has seen a range of improvements to both the landscape and to the buildings in order to retain and develop its historical significance with the restoration works completed in December 2006. We believe that in 2008 Haden Hill Estate continues to meet the criteria necessary fort he Green Flag award in that it demonstrates a range of quality experiences for people not only from the borough but also across the wider region. An award of Green Flag will endorse the Friends continued working in partnership with Sandwell MBC.
