01245 606 725Hylands Park offers 232 hectares; 574 acres of historic landscaped parkland for all the family to enjoy and is open to the public all year round. It plays host to some great events, including Race for Life and the annual ‘V’ music festival, the latter attracting some 130,000 people. 2007 saw Hylands hosting the World Scout Jamboree, celebrating 100 years of World Scouting. Some 40,000 Scouts and Guides plus 15,000 day visitors attended the event over the 10-day period 27th July to 8th August 2007. So whether you visit for one of these ever popular events or simply for a walk in the magnificent parkland, Hylands offers something for everyone. Exciting new facilities in the park were completed in 2007, including a new visitor centre with cafĂ©, gift shop and craft studios.
