0845 129 7777The park is on the edge of the Peak District National Park and commands spectacular views of the surrounding countryside. It was acquired from the Howard family of Glossop in 1925 and was opened as a public park in 1927. The park is at the heart of the community of Glossop providing a whole range of facilities for both young and old alike including bowling, skating area, childrenĘ’??s play area, formal gardens, woodland, miniature railway, crazy golf and tennis courts. There is an extremely active Friends group working to promote and improve the park, focussing on practical action through to fund raising.
