01283 563483Rosliston Forestry centre is a thriving visitor centre located in the heart of The National Forest. Its 154 acres of young woodland provides an excellent setting for a fun family day out. Rosliston boasts extensive woodland trails, fishing lakes, a visitor centre, restaurant, indoor and out door play area and a doll’s house emporium. An annual programme of events and activities offers something for everyone ‘whether its action and adventure you crave or the peace and tranquility of the woodland glades you can chose from activities as diverse as woodland laser combat or a butterfly safari. Rosliston welcomes all visitors with all our buildings fully accessible for wheelchairs and pushchairs. Visitors can also extend their stay by taking advantage of our luxury timber lodges ‘ these provide an excellent base for enjoying the many attractions located within The National Forest area. Again fully accessible, they sleep a maximum of 10 guests and with prices starting at as little as £251 for a Friday to Monday they make an ideal choice for a short break. Rosliston Forestry Centre is a partnership between South Derbyshire District Council, The Forestry Commission and The National Forest Company. It is managed on a day-to-day basis by Aurora Country Developments Ltd.
