Chinbrook Meadows has undergone a transformation from an area compartmentalised by high hedges and concrete gullies into an open landscape where the river Quaggy meanders slowly through the park. The banks of which are naturalised and colonised by new and diverse species of plants and insects.  The new and improved pavilion is now the focus of the sports within the park. Working with our partners Lewisham Borough council, the Chinbrook Meadow User Group and the community, we are actively encouraging the use of the refurbished all weather sport areas along with the established football pitches. Chinbrook Meadows has become a more sociable park for local people, residents groups and schools, whether it be for sports, the environment or as an educational resource.  The new landscaping has increased the biodiversity value of the park adding health and social benefits associated with it.
