Information about this open space

Bellingham Green was refurbished in 2003 and final refurbishment included lighting, benches, a multi-sports court area, a young people’s area, garden area and under 5’s play area. Bellingham activists managed to ensure that the green space, which was originally a basin, was flattened to enable people to walk and play across the park with a sense of security.  The area is deficient of green space and acts as a focal point for the community.
