020 7926 6232A small but attractive open space situated within the grounds of St. Paul’s Church, which used to be the original parish church for Clapham and has been managed by Lambeth Council since 1965. As well as a number of striking memorials, mature trees and well-maintained herbaceous beds, the Churchyard is home to “Eden at St. Paul’s”. This is an innovative church- and council-supported scheme which operates a wildlife-friendly, environmentally sustainable community garden and training resource. The garden features a composting club, recycled art projects, informal training in horticulture and a safe free play area for local children. The project also offers opportunities for organic vegetable growing and a place for peaceful contemplation.
